We are a furniture delivery company located in Toronto Ontario and have specialized in this industry for over 20 years. We partner with furniture retailers, manufacturers and designers to support their supply chain, warehousing, delivery and moving needs. We also service residential and business clients with their single and multi-location moves. We are a growing company focusing on scaling and expansion from within.

As our Furniture Delivery/Warehouse Assistant you will be responsible for working with drivers to deliver, move and assemble furniture to clients in a safe and timely manner. You will also support our warehouse with loading, unloading in our shipping and receiving area, retrieving items stocked in our warehouse and preparing orders. Our Delivery/Warehouse Assistants work well in a team setting, support their coworkers on the job and provide professional and friendly client service.

We provide training in service and delivery, safe transport and furniture assembly.

Employment type: Full-time, part-time, seasonal work available

**Responsibilities**
- Work alone and as a multi-person team to safely deliver furniture to customers.
- Load, unload, and safely transport various furniture items.
- Lift, move, unpack and assemble furniture at delivery locations using safety and procedural training standards.
- Maintain ongoing professional and friendly communication with customers and all team members.
- Load and unload individual items and skids on/off trucks with the use of a pallet jack when required.
- Wrap and label individual items and skids according to company requirements.
- Complete additional work in the warehouse or on-location as required.
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse.

Complete daily paperwork according to company policies and requirements.

**Qualifications**
- Physically fit: able to consistently lift and carry furniture items weighing up to 75-100 lbs unassisted, including stair carries.
- English language: (strong verbal and written communication skills).
- Previous experience: delivery, warehouse and shipping experience is considered an asset.
- Additional Skills: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Qualities: Honest, reliable and a friendly team player.
- Safety shoes required.
- Flexible schedule: willingness to work extended shifts and Saturdays.

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
