An assistant manager supports a store or department manager by performing managerial tasks, often filling in for the manager when they are absent. This role involves tasks such as supervising staff, working with customers, and carrying out the manager's directives. Assistant managers are often a step in a career path towards becoming a manager themselves. Key Responsibilities:
