An assistant manager supports a store or department manager by performing managerial tasks, often filling in for the manager when they are absent. This role involves tasks such as supervising staff, working with customers, and carrying out the manager's directives. Assistant managers are often a step in a career path towards becoming a manager themselves. Key Responsibilities:

- **Staff Supervision**: Guiding and supervising team members, including setting goals, providing feedback, and coaching.
- **Customer Service**: Addressing customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- **Operational Support**: Assisting with daily operations, delegating tasks, and ensuring things run smoothly.
- **Staff Management**: Participating in hiring, training, and scheduling staff.
- **Budget Management**: Assisting in maintaining the budget and managing expenses.
- **Promotional Activities**: Facilitating promotional activities and events.
