**Manager of Utilities**:

If you are a confident Professional Engineer interested in leading a dynamic Engineering team as the Manager of Utilities then this opportunity is for you. In this Exempt Management position you will report to the Director of Engineering and oversee a team of experienced professionals.

You are a strong, decisive leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with elected officials, the public, external agencies and all levels of staff. You have knowledge of civil engineering principles and administrative practices as applied to municipal engineering. You have a background in planning, design, and construction of water supply and distribution as well as wastewater collection and treatment. Working knowledge of health and environmental regulations pertaining to water supply and wastewater treatment is an asset. You have experience managing annual sewer and water Capital budgets. You are able to decisively approve expenditure of funds for water and sewer projects as approved in the municipal capital improvement budgets in accordance with Council resolutions and policy directives.
