- As a Rent Supplement Support Clerk, you will be responsible for collecting and verifying tenant-related information, working on annual rent review documents and providing administrative support to the Business Unit. Primary duties include:

File and update Administrators on all client contracts received from clients.
Generate the Annual Rent Review documents and mail out to clients within three months of contract expiry. Coordinate files and missing information between the client and the assigned Rent Supplement Administrator (RSA).

- Process all client address changes, rent increases, and contact information updates within the data base and notify RSA.
Answer questions regarding subsidy programs and landlord and tenant inquiries.
Perform a variety of administrative tasks such as entering information onto forms and into a database, maintain spreadsheets and records of previous clients, create, and retrieve files and file documents.

- Pull client information file and forward to RSA when requested.
Mail out all client correspondence.

- A High school diploma or provincial equivalent (e.g. GED) and at least 2 years of experience working with the Alberta Residential Tenancy Act is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required.
- Experience using Yardi software is required.
- Knowledge of legislation such as the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP), Social Housing Accommodation Regulations (SHAR) and Rent Supplement Regulations will be considered assets.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, a strong customer focus and organizational skills are essential in this role.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond to requests from clients that have varying degrees of comprehension.

**Pre-employment Requirements**A security clearance will be conducted.
