**Position Overview**:
The Labourer is primarily responsible for working in the panel shop at AI Technologies, as well as delivering parts to the Electrician team. This role will be primarily responsible for helping build electrical panels in a shop environment, along with delivering materials to jobsites. This role has the potential to be indentured as an electrician apprentice after one year.
**Pay**: $19/hour starting rate. Raise to $20/hour after a 3-month probation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assit in assembling electrical panels for large commercial clients.
- Perform general labour in the panel shop.
- Maintain inventory levels and perform cycle counts.
- Drive to suppliers to pick-up parts and other materials before delivering to jobsites in the Edmonton area.
- Assit Journeyperson electricians in the panel shop as well as in the field.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area at all times.
- Active participation in all safety programming including weekly safety meetings, hazard identification, and incident reporting and investigation.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Active interest in an electrician apprenticeship.
- Completion of grade 12 education.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
- Completion of CSTS training or other safety training is an asset.
- Previous experience working in the construction industry is an asset.

**Working Conditions**:

- Shop environment
- Construction worksites
- Overnight and out of town work may be required from time to time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
- Frequent bending, crawling, and other movements.

**Hours of Work**:
This is a full-time position with 40 hours of work guaranteed. Although, hours of work may vary depending upon project requirement including overtime, evenings, and weekends.
