Fundraising Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive, experienced, and energetic individual to engage donors and enhance community outreach for our Non-Profit organization. The coordinator will continue developing a portfolio of events and third-party fundraising campaigns in support of the Moose Jaw Humane Society’s strategic priorities.

**What you will be doing**:

- Manage and expand a portfolio of events, giving campaigns, third party fundraisers, contests and raffles.
- Conduct research to identify potential donors and funding opportunities, and work with a variety of businesses and community groups to organize third party events and campaigns.
- Create and foster new community partnerships.
- Organize and support event volunteers, providing leadership and guidance.
- Assist in developing effective event marketing strategies.
- Work with a variety of online fundraising and event management software.
- Negotiate sponsorships and partnerships that align with the organization’s mission.
- Monitor and analyze fundraising performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in fundraising, budgeting, and donor relations.
- Hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday but must be available to work evenings or weekends as needed for fundraising events. In these instances, time off in lieu would be compensated.

- **You hold a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license.**:

- **You have a university degree or college diploma, or an equivalent combination of work experience and professional development.**

Pay: $37,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
