**TRAINING INTERNSHIP in the Marketing/Market Research Industry for Canadian College/University Students**

General Purpose: Preparation of materials and completion of specific projects, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The intern will learn best practices in training delivery and implementation, communication skills and basic management tactics from experienced staff.

Responsibilities and tasks may include:

- Conducting competitive market research and studying trends in the marketplace
- Utilizing internal data to develop and produce reports; data analytics
- Assisting in the preparation of marketing plans
- Assisting in the preparatoin of business plans
- Planning and organizing projects
- Project management
- Writing, editing, and sending communications
- Database updates
- Preparing powerpoint presentations
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and information decks.
- Attending project meetings and providing follow-up support, including preparing meeting notes, agendas, action lists, reminders, and tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Currently enrolled in a College or University program
- Interest in a marketing/market research role
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Docs, and a basic computer knowledge
- Strong communication (verbal and written)

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op

**Salary**: $17.50 per hour
