**A DAY IN THE LIFE**
In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines (wind turbine generators (WTG)). During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this site, we have turbines that are located across Nova Scotia with the majority located in the central mainland. Typically, you will work 5 days a week 8-10-hour shifts and overtime available. This site has long term contracts that end well into 2030s. We generally work in teams of 2-3 people. Due to some of the remote locations of our turbines, there is travel expected up to 50% within the province and abroad. Overnight stays are a normal occurrence in Cape Breton and Yarmouth regions, and are covered by Vestas. This site has many growth opportunities within Vestas.

**MORE ABOUT YOU**:

- You will need a safety-focused mindset
- Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks
- You can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination
- You will bring at least a year of wind experience OR 2-3 years of transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, electrical work background OR a wind/industrial electrician certificate with said applicable background
- Blade and/or composite experience is an asset
