**Position Summary**:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. This role ensures products are handled efficiently, stored correctly, and loaded/unloaded according to company and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers, containers, and pallets of goods.
- Move products to storage areas, racks, or designated locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts by scanning, labeling, or recording product movements.
- Conduct pre-operational safety checks on forklifts and report any defects.
- Follow proper stacking, storage, and handling procedures to prevent product damage.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and staging as required.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all company policies, safety rules, and operational guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors, team members, and logistics staff.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment (preferred).
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
