We are looking for an experienced Logistic Transportation Specialist to manage all aspects of logistics throughout our Supply Chain. You will be responsible for organizing and providing efficient transportation solutions for the entire lifecycle of our products, from the acquisition of raw materials to final product distribution.

A successful Logistic Transportation Specialist should be able to ensure efficient and cost-effective Supply Chain Operations. You should also be able to promptly resolve logistics issues and have strong negotiation skills.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Interfaces with shippers, receivers and carriers while managing daily shipments.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with facilities and carriers through professional and timely communications and inquiry responses.
- Identifies patterns with shipper, receiver and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvement.
- Use of OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) and other carrier tools to actively manage on-time performance and carrier compliance is an asset.
- Handle request such as appointment scheduling for all shipments, OSD, On time delivery.
- GTA shipments coordination and Reefer Trailer Fleet performance/maintenance.
- Managing relationship with dedicated cartage drivers
- Other duties as assigned.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- 1-2 years’ experience in similar roles in an asset based carrier, 3PL, dispatching, dedicated fleet management and transportation coordination with common carriers is an asset.
- Ability to communicate and work with all stakeholders and resources in a frequently changing and challenging production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with limited supervision in a fast-paced team environment.
- Previous experience in a supply chain environment is a definite asset.
- Takes initiative, exercises good judgment in day-to-day business decisions.
- Must be knowledgeable and be able to follow GMPs, Food Safety and Health and Safety requirements.
