What’s the Job?
As a COMMISSION SALES REP, reporting to the General Manager, you are an integral part of the MATT Concrete team. Your primary role is to grow and maintain the MATTBrand in your territory. Once your clients have chosen to use MATT Concrete Panels in their projects, it is expected that you handle all facets of their support. You are efficient, driven, and able to work in an individual or team environment.
Your work will include:
- Knowledge of the local market and competitors, concerning the building materials sector
- Customer portfolio in the reference sector or, the ability to get in touch with interior designers, architects and contractors to build a lasting professional relationship with them
- Prospect and attract new customers to meet sales goals by cold calling
- Meet face-to-face with Designers, Architects, Developers and Builders to present MATT Concrete Panels
- Provide Product Knowledge sessions

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? (Qualifications)
- 1-2 years of experience in sales; alternatively, experience in the design and/or construction industry is an asset.
- This role best suited for someone who is self-motivated, driven, and has a positive outlook
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans is an asset.
- Strong relationship building and selling abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Outgoing and personable personality.
- Professional in appearance and conduct
