**Shop Laborer/Delivery Driver**

The **Shop Laborer / Delivery Driver **is responsible for delivering our wide range of equipment to and from various jobsites. When not performing deliveries, you will be tasked with the preparation, shipping and upkeep of Aquatech’s fleet of specialized dewatering and bypass pumping systems, water treatment systems and all associated components including advanced remote environmental monitoring instrumentation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform and Document daily inspections including CVOR for company vehicle
- Operate company trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Inform Supervisor when vehicle requires maintenance or repairs
- Maintain vehicle in a clean and orderly manner
- Ensure equipment being delivered or returned with proper documentation and accuracy as per company policy
- Loading /unloading all equipment deliveries/returns
- Ensure all paperwork is documented properly and submitted as per company policy
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and policies
- Perform Shop and Yard duties as per tasked by Supervisor when no deliveries / pickups are required
- Assist in system setups and teardowns as required
- Follow standard operating procedures for equipment handling, testing, release and return processes.
- Prepare and test equipment and components to be shipped to a project.
- Inspect, maintain, and restock equipment returned from a project.
- Keep work areas in the shop/yard organized.
- Able to travel to other branches to assist in workload
- Able to participate for after hours or weekend emergency response

**Qualifications and Required Experience**:

- Warehouse/Shop experience a requirement
- Valid Class G Driver’s License in good standing
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Strong reading and mathematical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and on a daily basis
- Uninhibited ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, reach and grasp
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Water/Wastewater/Civil/ Mechanical Engineering or related (OIT a strong asset)
- Safety training - WHMIS, 4 Step Awareness, Working At Heights, TDG
- Forklift Certification preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
