POSITION

Reporting to CEO, the Business Development Manager will play a key role in creating and implementing the company’s overall strategic objectives. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all agreed to sales targets are met or exceeded. This includes, direct selling of the GuestVision Enterprise Solutions, working with our Marketing team for lead generation and responsible for our Partnership Development Program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage a sales pipeline from a combination of company provided, as well as self-generated sales opportunities
- Conduct software presentations via web and in person to demonstrate the value of GuestVision Software solutions
- Consistently meet individual monthly/quarterly targets as set by management
- Establish and manage strategic relationships, alliances and networks within the salon and spa industry
- Develop, manage and implement new sales initiatives and work closely with managers to ensure that sales initiatives align with the requirements of other business areas and the company’s strategic objectives
- Maximize profitability on all potential sales opportunities
- Prepare, respond to and manage client proposals
- Formally answer Requests for Proposals when applicable, and develop and deliver client presentations for an end-to-end, fully integrated, Enterprise GuestVision solution
- Be an advocate for GuestVision within the customer’s organization, as well as be an advocate for the customer within GuestVision
- Ensure adherence to standard sales processes and reporting across the team
- Ensure that all methodologies are adhered to and consistently applied across the organization and adhere to all company guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
- Liaise with key stakeholders including the R&D, Education and Implementation Teams prior to contract signing, to ensure that the sale is both profitable and can be successfully implemented, sustained and supported by the business
- Develop accurate, high quality and professional sales documentation and client correspondence
- Contribute strategic, operational and tactical advice to GuestVision’s management team
- Travel as directed by the management team from time to time
- Other duties as assigned by management

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- The ability to create and present new sales initiatives
- Strong sales background with a drive to sell, build and maintain relationships
- Superior coordination and team building skills
- Ability to be coached and trained on new strategies for effective sales and account management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment with strict deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively manage and reprioritize work in a changing environment
- Ability to adapt to changing environment with a positive “can-do” attitude to work
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to conduct work with honesty and integrity
- Experience in beauty industry or software sales is a strong plus

- The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and to prioritize effectively to meet specific deadlines or goals. This includes prioritizing multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities.
