**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Tear down production lines to prepare for sanitation, disassemble conveyor belts, multihead, bagger machine, dumpers, box makers, box sealers & scales.
- Covering all electrical and mechanical components and electrical motors with poly tightly.
- Empty all trash cans and replace with fresh bags after cleaning.
- Ensure that all garbage’s are taken out to dumpster and dumped properly
- Break all cardboard boxes and ensure that boxes are dumped into the compactor & door is close
- Ensure any maintenance, malfunctioning of equipment is communicated to the supervisor in a timely manner
- Ensure that debris left on the floor is cleaned up.
- Ensure that the floor is left clean at the end of the shift and at the beginning of the shift.
- Make sure all production supplies of PPE is replenished before the end of the shift
- Assemble production equipment after sanitation process is done, Pre-op is performed and line is released for production
- Assisting production with getting ready for next shift.
- Responsible for performing the pre-operation check list.
- Other tasks required by the supervisor

**Qualifications / Characteristics**:

- Mechanical experience considered an asset
- 1-3 years of experience in a food processing facility
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices considered an asset
- Detail Oriented.
- Must positively interact with fellow employees and exhibit a strong work ethic.
- Capable of working in a moderate to cold working environment.
- Ability to stand or move continuously for extended periods of time.
- Capacity to multi-task and adapt to fluctuating work requirements
- Health and safety Oriented
