**Position Title**: Host/Support
**Location**: Antojo Tacos + Tequila, Halifax Nova Scotia
**Job type**: Part-time ( 10-28hrs per week)
**Salary Range**: $15.70

Legendary Hospitality restaurant group consists of Antojo Tacos + Tequila, Stubborn Goat Gastropub, the BG, Salt Yard Social, and Durty Nelly’s Authentic Irish Pub. Located in the heart of Downtown Halifax we have been serving up legendary hospitality experiences since 2008.
Antojo Tacos + Tequila is a vibrant and eclectic Mexican style restaurant and bar located on Argyle Street, providing Mexican inspired dishes, cocktails and a selection of Tequila and Mezcal.

Legendary Hospitality is looking for Hosts to join our front of house team at Antojo Tacos + Tequila, a vibrant restaurant and bar located on Argyle Street. We are looking for a passionate hard working individual/s to join our team Our core values are focused around the people we employ and the customers we serve and we are looking for like-minded individuals.
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
- Communicate effectively with managers and servers on seatings, reservations and flow of traffic
- Responsible for assisting the front of house teams in opening and closing duties
- Have a thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menus
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and food safety policies
- Responsible to maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
- Running food and drink to tables
- Clearing dish and glassware from tables and re-setting in a timely manner
- Answering calls with professionalism - answering questions, taking reservations or relaying messages to the appropriate manager.
- Deliver a Legendary guest experience
**About you**
- 1+ years support in a fast paced restaurant an asset
- Experience working with a reservation system such as Open Table or Resy an asset
- A working knowledge of cuisine is an asset
- Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Advanced English language skills
**Work Environment**
- Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Antojo uniforms provided by LHG must be worn during work hours
- When hosting, uniform is business casual (supplied by employee)
**Work Authorization**
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $15.70 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
Additional pay:
- Tips
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
