Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fall Protection Technician to join our Team in Oakville, ON.

A key focus will be to service and provide maintenance of various Breathing Air and Fire & Fall Arrest Equipment in the Southern Ontario area.

This position will be based in-house in our Oakville branch and will also involve remote/mobile service work at customer locations throughout Southern Ontario.

Main responsibilities
- Inspect, repair and maintain all types of Self Retracting Life Lines and other forms of Fall Protection Equipment at various customer sites
- Completing all required service and commissioning documentation.
- Conduct Life Safety inspections and audits, with follow-up suggestions and repairs
- Coordinate with service admin to meet customer demands
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions to service-related problems.
- Other general shop duties
- Actively contribute to the ongoing development of Job Hazard Analysis, Safe Work Practices as described and Field Level Risk Assessments
- Perform site-specific training for owners and end users.
- Maintaining a clean work environment within the branch service areas, service vehicles or customer

**Qualifications**:

- A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to work with technology and mobile devices
- Independent and a self-starter

Physical Safety Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted, coupled with good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Able to pass pre-employment and periodic drug and alcohol testing as well as criminal background checks
