**About us**

Our company is looking to hire a full-time lawyer as corporate counsel. We have corporate offices in Scarborough and Mississauga. A professional office room and access to a board room will be assigned to the new lawyer. They operate in various business lines in Canada and outside Canada. They wish to have the lawyer help with some Human Rights and Litigation files for mutual interest. Lawyer will be required to go on record. Some files may require appeal. We do have senior lawyers who are willing to guide. They must be a lawyer with the Law Society of Ontario. Work hours and being in office is flexible.

They are prepared to pay industry level standard salary. Please share your resume for review. Open to a part time role that can mature into full time. The Ideal lawyer who can help with business development and growth of a startup.

**Responsibilities**:

- Draft legal documents, such as wills, trusts, contracts, and pleadings.
- Advise clients on legal matters and represent them in court.
- Research legal issues and develop strategies to resolve them.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsels.
- Analyze complex legal documents and cases.
- Provide legal advice to clients on a variety of topics.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $2,000.00-$7,000.00 per month
