For more than 40 years, we have designed, manufactured, and installed all types of awnings and signage for indoors and outdoors. Located at 575 Marjorie Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3H 0S8.

As the major Sign manufacturer and Installer, you will do all aspects of the fabrication and installation of various sign and awnings types. You must be able to work well as part of a team, and your attention to detail must be impeccable as a certified sign manufacturer.
- Possess a wide experience in manufacturing and installing signage
- Comfortable working on ladders and heights
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Punctual, reliable and work well as a team player
- Comfortable working outdoors and indoors - occasional weekends and evenings are required
- Possess problem-solving skills
- Willing and able to work inside and outside in various weather conditions

**Among your responsibilities**:

- Attend installer and construction safety toolbox meetings as required
- Maintain operation of vehicles, installation tools, equipment and machinery
- Responsible for taking completion photos for proof of performance of the installation
- Service sign cabinets and LEDs
- Build awnings and canopies
- Manufacture sign cabinets, channel letters, gazebos and pylons.
- Install residential awnings, gazebos, shade products and all signage types
- Wrap vehicles such as buses, cars and boats
- Heat seal vinyl to make tarps and banners
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance & installation of all types of electrical and lighting system equipment and components on signs (Neon, Fluorescent and LED signs)
- Accurately measure and map sites for new projects

**The following are your responsibilities with regard to safety and communication**:

- Communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Maintain company safety standards at all times
- Documenting job site working hours and travel time
- Produce vinyl graphics with plotter, pre-mask and install

**Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements**:

- Installation of all types of signage including illuminated, non-illuminated, structural and decorative
- Experience in making concrete blocks for signage installation
- Expertise in manufacturing neon signs, channel letters, stainless steel letters, modules, and booths
- Work experience in spray booths, including mixing paints and solutions and spraying on a wide variety of materials.
- Weld and soldering experience
- Carpentry skills to operate table saws and other tools
- Use of power and/or manual tools
- Limited electrical licence is an asset
- Zoom Boom, bucket truck, crane, scaffolding and scissor lift operator experience
- The ability to work schedule effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work at heights above ground safely.
- Must comply with all safety requirements work rules and regulations
- Seaming knowledge or being willing to learn is an asset
- Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work

**Math, Geometry and computer needed skills**:

- Ability to document installations, through photographs, industry software and written logs
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)
- Skills related to measurements, angles, and projections.
- Accurately measure and map sites for new projects

**Personal and organizational skills**:

- Must be able to work alone and as part of a team
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
