**The Role**:

KMH Cardiology Centres Inc. is growing and we are recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator at our head office in **Mississauga**.
**The Accountabilities**:
The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, purchasing and tracking orders for the best products for KMH. The key accountabilities of the role are:
- Sourcing and purchasing goods and services for KMH including the administration and accounting related to the purchases
- The role includes liaising with team leads/managers to determine their requirements, sourcing suppliers of goods and services and inviting quotes
- To procure goods in the right quantity and specs and in a timely basis
- To lower costs through effective sourcing, vendor management and analysis
- To help support risk and ensure the security of goods supplied
- Manage internal and external relationships
- Leverage technology
- Make recommendations to streamline process and operations
- Administration of preparing purchase orders and reports
- Identify best offers for services
- Review purchase requests and ensure best practises with internal staff in purchasing
- Ensure compliance and adherence with KMH policies
- Complete purchasing actions to ensure month-end closing procedures are completed in a timely manner
- Analyze, review and manage variance
- Record expenses
- Maintain schedules or reconciliations for general ledger account
- Communicate with and respond to vendor inquiries, and perform vendor account reconciliations
- Receive larger medical supply deliveries to ensure that quantities receive match PO and packing slips, and allocate/coordinate quantities of company-wide orders to individual clinic locations
- Administration of preparing purchase orders and reports
- Identify best offers for services
- Review purchase requests and ensure best practises with internal staff in purchasing
- Ensure 3 bids or quotes are maintained on file for any order over $250.00
- Ensure compliance and adherence with KMH policies
**The Requirements**:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Purchasing or similar accounting role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Accounting Degree or Diploma is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is an asset
- Healthcare experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently
- Focus on detail, accuracy, efficiency and results
- Strong oral and written communication
- Comfort with technology and moderate to advanced proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Effective time management and organization
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
We are a progressive organization with a team that is passionate about healthcare. Our team is comprised of clinical, clinical support and business roles with an entrepreneurial approach. The team takes pride in our client focused environment and works very closely with other service and clinical teams at KMH.
The roles reports to the Accounting Manager. This is a full-time, on-site role scheduled for 5 days per week between Monday-Friday, during the hours of 9.00 a.m.5.00 p.m.
