The Public Safety and Social Development Department at the City of Chilliwack is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Crime Free Multi-Housing Liaison.

**If you have the following knowledge, skills and abilities we encourage you to apply.**
- Must have a minimum of grade 12 education augmented by typing and commercial courses, post-secondary education in Criminology or Social Sciences. - OR - an acceptable combination of education and experience;
- Must have a valid B.C. Driver’s License;
- Must have or be able to obtain the certification for Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design;
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a police agency or within the criminal justice systems;
- Must have knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act, as it relates to the work;
- Experience and or knowledge for building programs and increase community safety and awareness;
- Ability to prepare concise reports and correspondence;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience leading a team of employees;
- Able to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with department officials and other members of staff;
- Able to qualify for and maintain the required security clearance for the position.

The hourly rate of pay in this position is $36.67 (2025 rate). The incumbent in this class will normally work the standard work week of Monday to Friday in accordance with the hours specified, and on occasion work overtime as authorized.
