Camp Counsellor

**Job Summary**
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselor to join our team for the camp season. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, supervising campers, and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages personal growth and teamwork.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and engage with campers during various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement educational and recreational programs that cater to the interests and needs of children.
- Foster a supportive environment by encouraging campers to participate, make new friends, and develop new skills.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members to ensure a cohesive camp experience.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the camp facilities and equipment.
- Provide guidance and support to campers in resolving conflicts or challenges they may encounter.
- Participate in staff training sessions to enhance skills related to child development and safety protocols.

**Experience**
- Previous experience working with children is preferred; this can include roles such as tutoring or teaching.
- A background in Early Childhood Education is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire young minds.
- A passion for outdoor activities, teamwork, and community building is essential.

Pay: $15.85-$20.66 per hour
