Kinesiologist/personal Training Position

Halifax, Canada KMACFIT Full time

**KMACFIT** is presently seeking a Kinesiologist, or Certified Personal Trainer, to join their team in Halifax. Owner and Operator, Kelly MacDonald (BHK, Kinesiology, CPT), with over 12 years of industry experience, works closely with her Trainers providing mentorship and support, fostering the growth of every new team member.

**Requirements**:
Degree in Human Kinetics (preferred)

Nationally recognized Certification in Personal Training (e.g. CanFit, NASM, ACE, etc.)

Preferred experience working as a Personal Trainer

Valid Personal Training Liability Insurance

Valid CPR and First Aid Certification

**Responsibilities**:
Provide one on one coaching utilizing personalized Fitness Programs

Conduct fitness assessments and track client progress

Provide nutritional advice within the scope of practice

Maintain accurate records of client progress and attendance

Continuously assess and adjust training plans as required

Mobile Personal Training Position option available

**Assets**:

Ability to design, implement and modify personalized training programs

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others

Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development

Energetic, personable, and resourceful
