In order to meet our increased demand for training, **Worksite Safety Compliance Centre **is expanding our instructor-led training team, specifically for the CPO-approved Working at Heights program. There may also be an opportunity for this instructor to train on mobile equipment use (forklift and elevated work platforms) and/or confined space entry. If you are a knowledgeable and experienced health and safety instructor who is passionate about working at heights safety and mobile equipment safety education, this role is for you

This full-time position reports to the Manager, Instructor-Led Training and will deliver training at Worksite’s various GTA locations (North York, Mississauga, Scarborough, etc.) based on a monthly schedule.

As a Health & Safety Instructor your **key responsibilities** are:

- Delivering engaging and informative Working at Heights training to job seekers, the general public and new and current members of the construction industry
- Evaluating participants through practical skills and written evaluation
- Potentially delivering other courses such as Forklift Training, Mobile Elevated Work Platform Training, Confined Space Entry and Rescue and more.
- Organizing, filing and submitting digital and hard copy participant records following training
- Participating in team meetings and instructor development workshops
- 3+ years experience delivering training
- Background in construction management and/or other fall hazard-related industry
- Work experience or certification in occupational health & safety preferred
- Forklift, mobile elevated work platforms and confined space entry and rescue considered a key asset
- Strong interest educating people on the importance and value of health & safety training
- Self-starter who is able to work independently, while also contributing to a team
- Strong presentation and adult-engagement skills
- Valid Ontario’s Driver Licence - occasional travel by car for work
- Able to legally work in Canada
