We're seeking a Junior Marketing Coordinator to join our 100% vegan team and assist in reshaping the perception of veganism, working towards creating a world where animal exploitation is a thing of the past.
Reporting to the Vice President, Communications & Entertainment and accountable to the Marketing Manager, the Junior Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the seamless execution of all marketing efforts for Vegandale.
**Salary: $50,000 CAD**
**Location**:Must be based in Canada

**Required Skills**:
- Digital marketing proficiency, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics
- Understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
- Strong critical thinking skills with an emphasis on problem-solving and research
- Proficiency in content creation for marketing channels, including the ability to develop engaging copy and graphics/video content
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Continuous learning and adaptability, including staying updated with industry trends and adapting to new technologies
- Strong and clear communication skills
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and individuals
- Event marketing experience would be an asset
**Role Description**
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive activity, and new growth opportunities
- Ensure Vegandale is promoted per brand guidelines consistently
- Communicate with sponsors, manage, and execute marketing deliverables effectively
- Support collaboration and maintain direct communication with influencers, contractors, and media organizations as needed
- Assist with managing social media accounts and online presence, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and responding to customer comments and queries
- Engage in community management on social media platforms
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining the website (updating information, creating and managing event tickets)
- Coordinate with other departments to execute various supporting marketing initiatives
- Monitor online reviews and customer feedback and provide regular reports
- Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
- Travel as required to Vegandale events
