**Job Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, including curriculum development, staff management, and parent communication
- Ensure compliance with regulations and licensing requirements
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Supervise and support teaching staff in delivering high-quality programming
- Maintain regular communication with parents, other staff and licensee
- Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the community

**Experience**:

- Degree/Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field; Master's degree preferred
- A second language, art, music experience, and asset.
- Montessori Certificate preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a preschool or childcare setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficiency in computer operations for administrative tasks
- Experience in special education or working with diverse student populations is a plus

**Working Conditions**:

- Hours of work 40 hours weekly Monday to Friday.
- Overtime expectations. We sometimes have to work longer hours to meet

ratios. We may compensate this monetarily or with time off.
- Our work environment is sometimes physical, carrying

heavy objects and cleaning duties, bending over to

assist children, and some food preparation will be expected.
- Travel requirements attendance for field trips and events is mandatory unless

determined otherwise by management.
- Periodical on-call responsibilities to meet with management.

**Salary**:
Yearly salary is dependent on experience.

$50, 000 - $70, 000

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Early childhood education: 3 years (required)
- Leadership: 2 years (required)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (required)
