Trim Carpenter

**The Job**: Granton Construction Inc. is offering full time employment for an experienced carpenter working on residential renovations and additions.

**The Pay and Benefits**:The wages are excellent for the construction industry and benefits are available after completing your 3-month probation. Benefits include extended health care, dental, life insurance, and disability insurance. The hourly pay will be based on level of experience at the time of hiring.

**The Requirements**:You will be experienced with understanding renovation and add-on drawings and converting them into the finished work.

You are required to be able to have your own transportation to jobs in the tri-cities area and surrounding area when working with a crew. At other times you will use a company vehicle for the jobs you are working on.

The successful individual will need to supply their own tool pouch, hand tools such as a hammer and personal protective equipment such as proper CSA steel-toe work boots, hard hat, high visibility vest and both eye and ear protection. Other tools will be provided on site.

It is an asset to have proof of WHMIS, Working at Heights or Fall Arrest, and Work Safety Awareness training.

**The Job Responsibilities**:You will be responsible for working on renovation sites for both indoor and outdoor residential projects. You will be involved in all aspects of understanding the customer requirements and delivering the finished requirements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 2 years (preferred)
