We are seeking a full-time Warehouse Team Lead to join our Shimano Canada Limited team in Peterborough, ON.

This position will be responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse functions including, but not limited to, shipping and receiving materials, maintaining inventory and associated records, as well as general daily Warehouse duties.

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager the duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse Team Lead include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Pick, pack, and ship outbound orders as well as receive returns and inventory transfers;
- Training new staff in daily job requirements;
- Supervision of temporary staff during peak season (spring and summer) to achieve required daily shipping targets;
- Inventory cycle counts, variance research, and corrective actions to ensure accuracy;
- Updating and maintaining DC reporting on a daily basis;
- Maintain DC cleanliness in accordance with 5S policies;
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent;
- Two (2) years experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment;
- Demonstrated leadership skills;
- Highly dependable individual who can work independently with mínimal supervision;
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written;
- Strong organization and time management skills;
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy;
- Computer literacy, including use of ERP system, shipping programs, and scanners;
- Strong problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
