We’re looking for a **Business Development Representative** to join our team
Packetlabs was built by an ethical hacker after seeing vulnerability assessments presented as penetration tests. Our slogan “Ready for more than a VA scan?” drives at the importance of not providing our clients with a false sense of security. We are a passionate team of highly trained, proactive, ethical hackers. At Packetlabs, we know that a high-performing sales team is the key to sustained, consistent growth. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Business Development Representative (BDR) to uncover and qualify potential clients who could benefit from working with us. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal BDR has a strong understanding of the sales process. They excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up Account Executives for success. The BDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and the ability to showcase our services compellingly.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Craft outreach that is so personalized, relevant, and insightful that it is too hard to ignore
- Leverage investor reports, strategy documents, and company earnings calls to create messaging that resonates with executive buyers
- Engage decision-makers and build relationships through consultative selling approaches
- Book and qualify meetings using the BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) framework
- Work closely with Account Executives to understand won business, the factors that drove the deal, and how the client achieved success
- Use insights from won deals to identify and source similar clients in related industries or with shared pain points
- Track key performance metrics such as response rates, meetings set, and opportunities created. Log all activity in our CRM
- Continuously refine outreach strategies based on data, coaching, and market feedback
- Stay informed about cybersecurity trends to have relevant conversations with CISOs, IT leaders, and security professionals
- Learn, understand, and embrace the culture and core values of Packetlabs
**What You Bring**
- Two or more years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or similar outbound sales roles
- A proven track record of exceeding lead generation and meeting-setting goals
- Experience selling security, SaaS, or IT ser
