Town is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounting and Revenue Clerk to support our Financial Services team. This role involves front-line service for tax-related inquiries, administration of the Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT), and backup support for accounts receivable/payable and customer service functions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Administer MAT collection, including coordination with accommodation providers, the Short-Term Rental Coordinator, and Bylaw Officers.
- Prepare MAT invoices and administrative penalty notices.
- Attend Appeal Hearings
- Provide backup support for accounts receivable/payable, including invoice processing and payment runs and corporate credit card reconciliation.
- Maintain and update finance-related content on the Town’s website and forms.
- Process miscellaneous payments and assist with online payment systems and form development.
- Support special projects and other finance-related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in AP/AR
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

The salary range for this position is $55,309 to $60,970 based on a 35-hour work week and includes a comprehensive benefit plan.
