**Job description**
**Essential duties and responsibilities**.
- Drive locally as needed using Tyne's vehicle to purchase parts and deliver between Tyne's two locations.
- Assist welders/technicians with filing, machining, cutting and assembling as needed.
- Perform general labor duties as required.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and organization of tools, supplies, machines.
- Interact with engineers, welders and machine operators in a team-like and effective manner.
- Promotes and maintains a safe work environment in accordance with all company safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains appropriate knowledge and ability levels to efficiently perform all assigned work and utilizes this knowledge base to become proficient on new/unfamiliar assignments.
**Minimum Requirements**
- High School Diploma.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Fabrication/machine shop experience preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the Canada without needing sponsorship at time of hiring or in the future.
