The IT Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Manager will lead and execute technology procurement activities including Procurement Strategy, Strategic Sourcing and Contract Development and leads the end-to-end sourcing activities. You will play a critical leadership role in the ongoing management and oversight of technology suppliers throughout the contract life cycle, partnering with business stakeholders, technology leadership and project managers to understand and deliver against their needs. You will act as a change agent as part of our broader Sourcing & Procurement Transformation initiative and collaborate closely with various business partners across the stakeholder groups for their Sourcing needs including Technology, Finance and Legal.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and lead innovative sourcing and procurement strategies leveraging market trends to meet objectives of each procurement activity and drive continuous improvement and client value.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships. Build and maintain a roster of technology vendor partners with capabilities to support and enable Medavie’s strategic delivery.
- Lead the execution of the technology sourcing activities in competitive bid process.
- Implement structured evaluation criteria utilized during a sourcing event to ensure an equitable, consistent and value driven approach when awarding contracts.
- Negotiate with vendors to arrive at the appropriate specifications and optimal value and total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Develop and measure against vendor service levels and KPIs to ensure adherence to agreed service delivery.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert and primary contact for technology procurement and vendor management related questions, policies and procedures and vendor issues, escalations and/or remediation.
- Maintain tools and templates to perform efficient and effective sourcing activities, contract development, contract management and vendor management.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal/external partners to support delivery to strategic plan. Regularly seek feedback from partners to enhance policies, procedures, documents and implement and communicate change as needed.
- Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices.
