W.O. Stinson & Son Ltd. is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with a CPA and a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience. This position will be of particular interest to the right person looking to join an organization for a long-term relationship with an established company. The key characteristics of this position are:

- Responsibilities:_
- Oversee the company's daily accounting functions, including preparing and presenting monthly financial statements and reports to senior management and owners.
- Assist senior management and department heads with day-to-day functions and ensure smooth running of the company.
- Manage and direct all financial and accounting processes.
- Review, evaluate and ensure the integrity of all financial transactions.
- Work closely with the accounting team to streamline and improve processes.
- Review, assess and implement best practices and internal controls.
- Work with and assist other departments in meeting company goals.
- Liaise with various government departments to ensure adherence to government requirements.
- Prepare annual working papers and reports and communicate with external accountants.
- Ensure all regulatory filings and payments are done on a timely basis.
- Qualifications:_
- CPA designation with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead others and provide guidance.
- Keen analytical skills to analyze financial data to make sound financial decisions.
- Proven track record of streamlining processes and improving efficiencies.
- Strong IT skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office products (particularly Excel).
- Proficient in both official languages.
- Experience in the fuel industry will be considered an asset.
