**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness of all machines and work areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist customers effectively.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in food handling practices.
- Help train new staff members in food service techniques and customer interaction.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in food preparation or service roles.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with POS systems to facilitate efficient order taking and payment processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player attitude with the willingness to help colleagues as needed.

Pay: $15.80-$20.00 per hour
