We’re currently seeking a **Lead Hand** to join our crew and help lead day-to-day operations on-site.

**Job Summary**

The Lead Hand will work closely with the Foreman and management team to oversee hardscaping installation and maintenance projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, hands-on landscaping experience, and a solid understanding of safe trailer operation and towing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with leading and motivating a landscaping crew on job sites.
- Ensure quality standards and deadlines are met for each project.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and power tools safely.
- Drive and tow trailers with equipment and materials to job sites (must be confident in reversing, parking, and securing loads).
- Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and instructions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients on-site.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

**Requirements**:

- **Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (clean abstract)** - must be confident and experienced in **towing and reversing trailers**.
- Minimum 2 years of landscaping experience (leadership experience is a strong asset).
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliable, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, planting, turf care, retaining walls, and paving stones is a plus.
