Flynn Industrial Ltd., a leading building envelope trade contractor in the institutional, commercial and industrial construction market place, requires an experienced Project Coordinator for our Edmonton Branch.

Flynn Industrial Ltd. has enjoyed steady growth and success by providing quality contracting services and design assistance to ensure long-term performance and customer satisfaction. As a contractor, Flynn Industrial Ltd. plays a key role in blending architectural visions with practical detailing to ensure quality, functional, and high-performance Roof and Wall Systems. Flynn is positioned to serve the entire Canadian Industrial construction marketplace.
- A Day in the Life
- Preparing takeoffs/estimates for assigned jobs
- Track progress and quality of work being performed by various trades
- Writing up work orders
- Use project scheduling and tools to monitor plans, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
- Consult with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve issues
- What We are Seeking
- 3-5 years’ experience working in construction is an asset
- Industrial experience is an asset
- Education in a civil engineering / building science program or a related educational field
- Familiarity with construction methods and building codes
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Proficiency in MS office package, including MS Project
- Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to multi task and work in a team environment
