**PURPOSE**

The Recovery Associate is to provide administration support to the Recovery & Remarketing team by administering the consumer proposals and bankruptcy files and managing and organizing the legal documents to support the collection of company assets.

Success in this role will be the collection of bad debt and management of bankruptcy and consumer proposals. An entrepreneurial mindset understanding department return on investment.

**RESPONSIBILITES**
- Administration of consumer proposals and bankruptcy files.
- Collection of bad debt of charged off files for settlements.
- Assist with billing and accounting services.
- Managing and organizing legal documents.
- Collecting lien discharges from 3rd party companies.
- Handling of RSLA documentation.
- Support collection team with skip tracing as needed.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Completion of High School.
- Knowledge of the bankruptcy & Insolvency Act will be first considered.
- Understanding legal terminology.
- Post-Secondary education in legal administration is an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in using productivity tools and end-user software including MS Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal.
