The **Administrative Assistant** plays a critical role in the success of different segments of our Business. From being a contact point for our customers; support Leaders and employees; involved in projects as well as insure day to days’ activities. By its involvement the incumbent meets the above with a strong sense of achievement.

**In a typical day, YOU will**:

- Demonstrate workplace safety, environmentally sound, healthy behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
- Divisional Events coordination
- Manage accounts payable, invoice coding, data entry and filing
- Administer accounts receivable cheque coding, recording and deposits
- Support to TMH sales team and management in administrative tasks thru validation, translation of documents, quotes and tenders.
- Main link to all MH portals of our different manufacturers portals when it comes to access & registration for all new employees of the Division
- Coordinates all reports (internal and external use) and returns related to contractor compliance / certification.
- Misc. projects to include but not limited to:

- Government requirements
- Building maintenance support to include Security
- Keys, access & Office equipment supplies
- Manage TMH safe practices Contractor List
- Ensure internal and external customer requirements are achieved in an efficient manner
- Regional liaison with Digital marketing specialist on all aspects related to marketing materials and campaigns
- Coordination of new employee onboarding
- Divisional communications to include phone system support
- Process the incoming and outgoing mail including distribution;
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing courier requests
- Manage supplies and coordinate the receiving and distribution of them
- Assist in other duties are required

**Must-haves for this role**:

- College diploma in administration or related field
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in an administration role with a focus on customer service/industrial retail environment
- Experience in project coordination or support to operations or sales is an asset
- Proficiency with all Microsoft office tools
- Mastering communication skills both written and verbal in French and English
- Customer service /sales oriented / ability to prioritize.
- Team player
- Building maintenance & support experience is an asset
- Quick learner
- Multitasking and able to cope with high paced business model
