**Responsibilities**:

- Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment
- Wash, rinse and dry clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners
- Clean up and sanitize station after each client.
- Gather supplies to style and cut hair of clients.
- Be available for last minute appointments.
- Communicate with stylists about the scheduling, availability, and booking of hair appointments.
- Be personable and friendly with clients.
- Follow health department regulations for hazardous materials disposal.

Experiance and Requirements
- Work experience as a Barber, Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colorist or similar role
- Technical knowledge and skill for hair to assist clients with a variety of hair types and needs
- Interpersonal skills to connect with clients, building long term relationships and client loyalty
- Time management to ensure successful completion of role responsibilities
- Flexible to changing schedules and requirements
- Able to work under time constraints and pressure
- hairstylist licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
