**Overview**
- Lafarge in Saskatoon is seeking an experienced **Base Crew Equipment Operators** for the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, and parking lots. As a member of our base crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of various construction projects.**Responsibilities**:

- Operate heavy equipment to install aggregate materials and dirt, including:

- Rollers
- Excavators
- Skid Steers
- Dozers
- Graders
- Water trucks (3A license required)
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Perform on-site coordination of manpower, materials, and equipment to complete the project.
- Ensure that all materials are ordered with purchase orders or requisitions for materials/supplies from suppliers, parts room, AND YARD.
- Coordinate with the supervisor for document inspections on completed work.
- Assist other employees when required.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and directions regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
- Comply with the standards and procedures of Lafarge's health and safety manual and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

**Qualification**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong judgement skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Experience with Topcon and Trimble positioning systems preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Team mentality and willingness to collaborate with crew members.
- 3A license is not mandatory but is required to operate certain equipment.

**Daily Work Details**:

- Work locations are in and around Saskatoon and will vary during the construction season.
- Start dates may vary depending on conditions, with work typically wrapping up by mid-November.
