An opening exists in the Book Fairs Division for the position of Material Handler reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. Please note this position is Part Time - the person will work full time hours with a temporary seasonal lay off.

**Work Location**:This position works out of our Brampton branch located at 9150 Airport Road, Brampton, ON.

**Primary** **Responsibilities**

  • Perform product movements to bulk/pick locations, ensuring paperwork is completed and handed in for timely system updates.
  • Responsible for supporting warehouse fulfillment, ensuring timely handling of inbound/outbound freight, as well as daily stock replenishment.
  • Responsible for coordinating and consolidating skids for bulk storage/shipping, performing housekeeping duties and supporting the warehouse fulfillment and packaging.
  • Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

  • Reach Truck experience required (recent certification preferred).
  • Attention to detail; a positive attitude and the ability to be a team player are also requirements of this position.
  • This is a position that requires CSA approved (green-label) safety shoes.
  • Some heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.) is required
