**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced **Technical Support Specialist (Temporary**) to join our team (3-month term due to leave. This position may be extended, or other opportunities may be available after the term).

The position exists to assist in the ongoing technical support for Fusion Security's internal Staff and external Clientele. The position is geared towards providing our Staff and Clientele with ongoing technical and operational support, in addition, ensuring that the Security Systems in place, for our clients, are configured and functioning as designed. This position is a key to providing input/recommendations towards improving our Quality, Efficiency and Profitability of the Systems Division.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assists Project Managers/Systems Coordinator in various capacities such as setting up new computers/servers, compiling equipment for job, preparing specification packages and diagrams and submitting shop drawings/door typical/risers.
- Provides Technical Support to Field client technical/operational people who require service/support, assist Field Technicians with remote support, set up new systems in DLS, set up new Access systems for sites, set up new CCTV systems and Compile Support Documents.
- Provide Technical support to Sales for quotes/proposals, serves as point on TeamViewer setup (Including updates and training), manage Passwords for field sites, perform Keyscan Host Maintenance, assist with Field Systems Trouble Signals, and assist with new System Evaluation / Implementation.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office-based role with frequent use of computers and phone systems.
- Periodic interruptions from clients and operational personnel.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of systems support, installation, or service experience.
- Working towards a TQ certification or equivalent work experience.
- Background in engineering or technical support is an asset.
- Demonstrated personal integrity and responsibility.
- Operational experience in Security Systems, such as Keyscan, ICT, Kantech, Avigilon, Axis, Genetec and DSC.
- Above average Customer Service abilities and focus.
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize taskings.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing so others will understand. Ability to be direct and assertive, yet have a collaborative approach with others (clients, technicians, other staff, suppliers).
- Able to concentrate on a task over a period or time, without being distracted or reducing focus.
- The ability to shift back and forth between two or more activities or sources of information.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Must be proficient in English (written and spoken).
- Legally eligible to work in Canada and currently residing in the country.
