TIP Group is currently seeking a high-energy and self-motivated **FP&A Analyst** to join our Finance team. Under the direction of the FP&A Manager the successful incumbent will be responsible for supporting the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process through the collection, preparation, and analysis of financial data from across the organization.

**YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITES WILL BE**:

- Preparation of financial reports by collecting, analyzing, structuring, and presenting information
- Provide meaningful observations to the business though the analysis of operational and financial data
- Collate data from various sources and assist in financial analysis for functional owners
- Function as a trusted business partner providing FP&A finance support to the operational teams and branches
- Provide support on cost control projects, pricing, and any ad-hoc analyses
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior year/month expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support budget preparation process and rolling forecast analytics including periodic budget vs actual comparison

**WHAT YOU BRING**:
**Education/Experience Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent combination of experience/degree)
- A minimum of 2 years of Finance/FP&A experience
- Currently working towards obtaining CPA designation or equivalent
- Proficient in the use of Excel
- Adept in accessing information from various source and systems
- Experience in handling large volume of data

**Competency Requirements**:
Must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform this job successfully:

- Experience or an internship with one of the large accounting firms would be as an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up
- High-energy, hands-on employee who thrives in a fast-paced work environment

**DESIRED**:

- Work experience in the Transportation or Logistics industry is an asset.
