U-STORE-IT is currently recruiting for a **Full-Time Site Associate** to join our team at our Red Deer facility. The successful incumbent will be responsible for sales rentals of storage units and general cleaning/maintenance of the storage facility. You will be customer service oriented, professional, organized and efficient with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in our fast-paced environment

**Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, the following**:

- General overall maintenance of facility at company standards, including: cleaning all floors and office daily, cleaning vacated units, cleaning washrooms and public carts, changing overhead light fixtures, replacing air unit filters, maintaining outside site appearance
- Seasonal duties, snow removal & yard maintenance
- Enter rental agreements into software and arrange payment details
- Balance and close the Point of Sale (POS) on a daily basis
- Assist customers with following store policies and protocols
- Assisting with site safety and security
- Retail sales of moving and packaging supplies

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a relevant role is preferred
- Working knowledge of general office procedures involving equipment and machines, procurement, etc.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment
- Must speak, read and write English fluently

The salary for this position is based on 40 hours per week. Schedule would include weekends, and be Thursday - Monday, with every Tuesday & Wednesday Off. May include some holiday shifts as well. Shift hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, every Thursday through Monday.

To keep our team members and clients as safe as possible, we provide non-medical face masks and gloves during shifts, installed plastic barriers at office counters, and sanitize the office and warehouse throughout the day.

- Red Deer, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
