Procurement Manager

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Review open sales orders and upcoming projects, and identify procurement needs
- Generate purchase orders with accuracy, expedite as needed, and stay current on changes that may affect supply
- Ensure a smooth and continuous supply of required goods and materials
- Receive and input vendor invoices (Quickbooks)
- Verify received goods, and communicate and resolve quality issues with vendors and/or production team
- Develop and oversee warehouse organization systems, including a detailed inventory of materials and supplies
- Review production documents and perform inventory adjustments (Quickbooks) to keep the system up to date
- Participate in weekly production team meetings to build and revise production schedules
- Liaise with other departments to ensure projects are completed on schedule

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Gmail, PDF
- Experience with Quickbooks an asset
- Enjoy teamwork but be able to work independently
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and manage physical inventory

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC V4A 2J4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- purchasing: 3 years (required)
