Medical Aesthetician/laser Technician

**Position Overview**:
The Medical Aesthetician at Solange Medical Aesthetics plays a crucial role in providing high-quality skincare treatments and services. This position requires a combination of technical skills, product knowledge, and a strong commitment to patient care, ensuring clients receive personalized and effective aesthetic treatments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Client Consultations**:

- Conduct thorough skin assessments and consultations to understand client needs and recommend appropriate treatments and products.
- Develop customized treatment plans tailored to individual skin types and concerns.
**- Perform Aesthetic Treatments**:

- Administer a variety of non-invasive aesthetic procedures, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser treatments, and other advanced skincare therapies.
- Ensure treatments are performed safely and effectively, adhering to all protocols and guidelines.
**- Patient Education**:

- Educate clients on post-treatment care, skincare routines, and product usage to enhance and maintain treatment results.
- Stay updated on the latest skincare trends and innovations to provide informed recommendations.
**- Sales and Product Promotion**:

- Promote and sell skincare products and treatment packages to clients, achieving sales goals as set by management.
- Assist in inventory management and product ordering, ensuring a well-stocked treatment area.
**- Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment**:

- Adhere to sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe treatment environment for clients and staff.
- Properly sterilize and maintain all tools and equipment used during treatments.
**- Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment histories and product recommendations.
- Document all treatments and outcomes for follow-up care.
**- Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other team members, including nurses and the medical director, to ensure comprehensive patient care and satisfaction.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to the clinic's growth.

**Qualifications**:

- Education**:

- Completion of an accredited aesthetician program; advanced training in medical aesthetics is preferred.
**- Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical aesthetics or skincare setting.
**- Licenses/Certifications**:

- Current state licensure as a Medical Aesthetician or equivalent certification.
**- Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, conditions, and treatments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in skincare products and equipment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
