Our team is passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences and innovative cocktail creations at affordable prices.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to lead our dynamic team at Fernie Distillers. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Lounge/Tasting room, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining the standards of excellence our guests have come to expect.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise bar staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- This position is an evening and weekend’s role with a commitment of 4 to 5 shifts.
- Develop and implement bar policies and procedures.
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies.
- Report any equipment damage, repairs and maintenance of all bar related equipment.
- Create and maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Develop and execute innovative cocktail menus that showcase our spirits.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting and cost control.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Promote Fernie Distillers through events and community engagement.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue.
- Lead tours of the production facility.
- Represent Fernie Distillers at the Fernie Farmer’s Market

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of mixology and cocktail creation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management and ordering systems.
- Serving it right certification.
- Work independently, be a self-motivated and creative individual that takes pride in building the Fernie Distillers brand.
