**SALARY**: $80,000.00 - 105,000.00 annually
**TYPE**:Permanent Full-time, 1.0 FTE, 40 Weekly Hours
**SCHEDULE**:General hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm; requirement to participate in after hours on call rotation. Schedule must be flexible to meet the needs of the program.
**START DATE**: As soon as possible

Pursuant to the Provincial Health Officer's Order, the incumbent of this position is required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The Housing First ICM Team Leader oversees the daily operations and development of clinical operations, leading an inclusive, collaborative, learning-oriented transdisciplinary team that is collectively committed to the program model, values and the best possible service for the client. Reporting to the Director, Clinical Services (DCS), the ICM Team Leader develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates the clinical program, in alignment with RainCity principles, policies and practices. Working with the DCS, they participate in the hiring, dismissal, discipline, development, and performance evaluation of ICM staff.

The Housing First ICM Team Leader plays a lead role in the program implementation informed by RainCity principles, policies and organization-wide procedures, as well as the program framework; and is responsible for continuous improvement.

The ICM Team Leader promotes the interests of the client population and the program in the community and ensures the program is appropriately integrated with other systems of care. In addition to their operational role, the ICM Team Leader also provides direct counseling services to clients.

The Housing First ICM Team Leader is part of the RainCity excluded management team and works closely with ICM staff, Program Managers, Building/Facility Operations, designated Human Resources Business Partners and Administrative staff.

**PROGRAM SUMMARY**

Maple Ridge ICM -Intensive case management plays a vital role in the continuum of services and supports for people with serious mental illness and substance use issues in BC.

The ICM Team assists clients by helping them to identify and achieve personalized recovery goals and by assisting in the coordination of support services(e.g. mental health, criminal justice, family, and addictions services).

The ICM team also provides housing opportunities for clients using a ‘housing first’ scattered site approach.

Clients are offered immediate access to rent supplements so they have the opportunity to live in the same kinds of permanent independent apartments that are typically available to people without mental illness, and the rent supplements are provided without requiring participation in psychiatric or substance use treatment.

Self-determination and choice are at the centre of all considerations with respect to the provision of housing and support services.

**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**

1. A Bachelor’s level degree in healthcare, health services administration or a related field

2. Minimum of 7 years of experience with programs that deliver direct service to individuals living with mental illness, substance use and physical health issues; 2 years of this experience should include supervising or managing programs, including experience in budgeting, program planning, policy development, and labour relations

3. Active registration with a regulatory college under the Health Professions Act (HPA)

4. Current First Aid and CPR certification

5. A clear vulnerable sector criminal reference check

6. Class 5 driver’s license

7. Advanced knowledge in:

- Practices for populations with complex needs related to mental health issues, substance abuse, and homelessness
- Mental health diagnoses, medications, treatments, support resources, and strengths-based recovery model
- Related physical health issues (e.g. HIV and Hepatitis C),including diagnoses, treatment, and support resources
- Housing continuum, including market, subsidized and supported systems, as well as program models for special needs populations
- Oppression and marginalization, specifically as related to aboriginal people and people living with mental health and/or substance abuse issues
