Our Human Resources team is growing and is currently seeking to fill a newly created position of a Talent Acquisition & Development Manager to lead and develop the talent acquisition and organizational development function.

You are results oriented with a proven track record in recruiting and talent management.

You have experience implementing creative talent acquisition strategies, social media sourcing options and talent management strategies that improve talent attraction, employee experience and retention.

You have strong leadership and project management skills and have experience developing initiatives and programs from the ground up.

**Here’s what you’ll deliver**:
You’ll oversee the development and delivery of programs, systems and tools to support the attraction, recruitment, development and management of talent. Your areas of oversight include talent acquisition including attraction, sourcing and selection, employer branding, onboarding and university partnerships.

**Essential duties and responsibilities include**:

- Develops and implements a strategic plan and roadmap to continually attract and retain talent
- Oversees the talent acquisition process and champions continuous improvement in talent acquisition and employee retention strategies
- Develops and implements a roadmap of integrating talent acquisition and employee development approaches to create succession pipelines
- Partner on the deployment of strategic talent/employer branding initiatives and activities
- Plays a key role in the future implementation and management of an Applicant Tracking System, Employee Rewards and Recognition System
- Identifies and capitalizes on organizational development opportunities across the group.
- Assumes other duties or special projects as directed by Senior Leadership

**What we are looking for**:

- University or College Degree in a related discipline
- CHRP/CHRL designation; CTMP designation or formal training in talent management is considered an asset
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition
- Previous experience in Talent Management
- Recruiting experience in Retail and/or Hospitality considered an asset
- Experience with supporting multi-site operations
- Demonstrated track record in implementing creative and results driven talent acquisition strategies
- Exceptional project management skills
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
