**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our food service operation, providing excellent customer service while ensuring that food is handled and served in a safe and sanitary manner. You will assist customers with their orders, manage cash transactions, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. A passion for the food industry and a commitment to quality service are essential for success in this position.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with precision.
- Ensure that all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas, including regular sanitization of surfaces and equipment.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items meet quality standards.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Strong cashiering skills with experience in cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to help others and work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service in a restaurant or kitchen setting.
