**Position summary**:
Under the supervision of the Controller, the **Account payable clerk** is responsible for the activities related to the accounts payable. The clerk enters the invoices and issues payments to suppliers under the terms of the company.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Enter invoices in the system;
- Create, codify, and maintain suppliers’ accounts;
- Revise and reconcile suppliers’ account statements;
- Follow up discrepancies and claims;
- Ensure the extension and totals of invoices and get them approved for payment;
- Issue payments to suppliers, long freight forwarders and brokers;
- Carry out wires for affiliates;
- Ensure wire details are correct;
- Send proof of payment to suppliers;
- File cheques and invoices paid;
- Respect deadlines at end of month;
- Give support to the controller at end of month;
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
- Perform all other related tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
